Jenner Stevens has followed an interesting career path to arrive as owner of a home design business. She worked as a campaign division director at the Greater Twin Cities United Way as a young adult. She left United Way and joined Serifina, a local monogramming boutique, where she worked as a sales associate and discovered her love of merchandising and visual display. Her experiences at Serifina prepared her for a job at Marshall Field's where she refined her artistic talents as a member of the in-store visual presentation team.

When Jenner and her husband purchased a quaint, two-story home in the Morningside neighborhood of Edina and began remodeling the interior, Jenner discovered that her natural design ability had been significantly enhanced by her practical work experience. A light bulb went off in Jenner’s head, and J.Louise went from a brainstorm on a piece of paper to a professional business in the design field.

Jenner created her business plan around the following philosophies…

  • Your home is a reflection of your personal style and individuality.
  • Great style can be functional and affordable.
  • Your home should be a place to relax and unwind, a place to enjoy in the company of family and friends, and a place of which to be proud.
